Our Story
"With my own son heading off to college in just a couple of years, I wanted to build a way for all of us to send a warm hug from home, keeping that connection strong through every step of their journey."

My name is Sarah, and I recently started Totes of Love because I'm already anticipating the big transition that lies ahead for my own family. My son is going to college in a couple of years, and as I watch him grow, I've realized how quickly time flies—and how much I'll want to stay connected to him when he finally leaves the nest.

We recently launched this business to solve a problem that so many parents face. Watching close friends send their own kids off, I saw how much they wanted to send thoughtful care packages, but how hard it was to find the time to source, pack, and ship something meaningful. I wanted to build a service that makes sending high-quality, hand-curated comfort easy, without losing that personal, loving touch.

Preparing for my son's college journey is what inspired me to start Totes of Love today. Every item we select for our themed boxes is chosen with the same care and attention I would use for my own son—a mix of cozy items, practical essentials, and sweet surprises that feel like home. We’re excited to walk this path with you, one beautiful box at a time.

Directly to your student. When you subscribe, you enter their address — dorm, off-campus apartment, student housing, wherever they're living. The box goes straight to them with your personal note inside.

No problem at all. You can update their shipping address anytime from your account dashboard, and the change takes effect for the next shipment. Moving is stressful — this part doesn't have to be.

Boxes ship between the 1st and 5th of each month. You'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking as soon as it's on its way. We recommend subscribing by the 25th of the previous month to be included in that month's shipment.

Yes. Month-to-month subscribers can cancel anytime before their next billing date with no penalty. Prepaid 3- or 6-month plans run their full term, then cancel automatically unless you choose to renew.

We stand behind every box. If something arrives damaged or your student isn't happy with a specific item, reach out to us at sarah@totesoflove.com and we'll make it right. We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Yes. You set your personal note message during checkout, and you can update it anytime from your account before the monthly ship date. Some parents write a new note every month; others keep it simple. Totally up to you.

Every subscriber receives the same themed box that month — that's how we ensure quality and curation. However, limited edition add-ons and upgraded packaging options are available for 6-month subscribers.
